AC PetfoodsA C Petfoods (2007) Ltd is a family owned and operated Petfood Abattoir that has been running in the Waikato for over 22 years. It is based in Ohaupo and services the farming community in the wider Waikato region. A C Petfoods (2007) Ltd is the largest petfood abattoir in New Zealand employing 10 fulltime staff and over 35 casual staff at the peak of its production period.

A C Petfoods (2007) Ltd buys and processes cows, horses, bobby calves and sheep to produce meat products and meat by products to sell to the petfood industry.

The main products include 25kg boxes of boneless beef, veal, and horse meat, and bone in veal. By products include heart, liver, lung, kidney, ears, necks and brisket. Product is sold to wholesalers who further process and sell to end users. The products are targeting dogs and cats and any animal that can benefit from having raw meat in their diets.

A C Petfoods(2007) Ltd is MAF approved and audited on a quarterly basis to ensure compliance with New Zealand operating standards. All staff in the field collecting stock are trained as per MAF requirements and are very focused on animal welfare.

Alternatively, if you have javascript enabled on your browser, you can use our online form to arrange a pickup online. Simply click the button in the sidebar, fill out the form and click submit. Thats all there is to it! You will receive email confirmation of your request, and one of our staff will also call to confirm the pickup.
